Despite its location amid the tourists and souvenir shops along Savannah’s bustling West Broughton Street, Joe & Vera’s has firmly established itself as a favorite watering hole for the city’s locals as much as its visitors.
Now, the bar is offering guests a chance to sip cocktails on the water. In partnership with Tipsy Turtle Tiki Tours, Joe & Vera’s Sunset Cruise Supper Club launched earlier this year and has become a recurring seasonal series due to popular demand.
For $130 per person, the floating dinner party departs from Bahia Bleu Marina (2812 River Drive in Thunderbolt on the Wilmington River) and embarks on a two-hour excursion along local waterways. Picture yourself perched on a barstool, spotting dolphins and enjoying coastal views from the shade of a thatched roof, with a fruity rum concoction in hand. Recent menus have pulled flavor inspiration from the Philippines and Cuba, with dishes such as chicken adobo, sweet-and-sour fish, and leche flan.
With space limited to 20 people, cruises sell out quickly. Follow @joe_and_veras on Instagram for updates on future ticket releases for 2027. Missed the boat? Joe & Vera’s is open daily at 23 W. Broughton Street for landlocked imbibing.
